Ingredients

  • Cornstarch
  • All-purpose flour
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Egg yolks
  • Baking powder
  • Vanilla extract
  • Dulce de leche
  • Shredded coconut (optional)

Method

  1. Cream butter and sugar, then mix in egg yolks and vanilla.

  2. Fold in cornstarch, flour, and baking powder into a soft dough.

  3. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour until firm.

  4. Roll cold dough and cut into small rounds; bake at 175 °C for 10-12 minutes.

  5. Cool completely, then sandwich pairs with dulce de leche.

  6. Roll the edges in shredded coconut if desired.
