- All-purpose flour
- Instant yeast
- Sugar
- Coconut milk
- Cardamom
- Salt
- Egg (optional)
- Frying oil
Method
Mix flour, yeast, sugar, cardamom, and salt; add coconut milk to form a soft dough.
Knead briefly and let the dough rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Knock back and roll to 1 cm thick.
Cut into triangles or rounds.
Fry at 180 °C until puffed and golden, turning once.
Drain and serve warm with chai.
